Linda Lewis Kitchens (LLK) is delighted to announce the launch of their new Cuppone Tiziano Slimline Series, which has been specially crafted to meet the market demand for a high capacity oven with a small footprint.
The trusted Tiziano has always been LLK’s bestselling oven, perfect for small restaurant kitchens and takeaways alike. It hasn’t changed much over the years, simply because it hasn’t needed to.
However, recently LLK has seen some of their most valuable customers struggle with kitchen space, especially when fast-growing chains found that they were sometimes inheriting smaller kitchens than they were used to. This was an issue that LLK was determined to tackle and find the perfect solution to bring perfect pizza to these compact kitchens.
Over the last 12 months, LLK has worked side-by-side with Cuppone toexclusively bring to the UK market a more compact pizza oven and put an end to the woes of tiny kitchen owners. The all new Tiziano Slimline 620 Series offers a cooking capacity of 6 x 12” pizzas on the cordierite stone base when stacked three high, and is shallower than a traditional TZ620 oven, making it the perfect compact, countertop pizza oven for any kitchen.
In addition to bringing the new Slimline 620 Series to market, LLK has worked hard to meet the demands of their trusted dealers and have added to the range a twin deck version of the countertop Tiziano 420 oven. This fantastic little oven is now available as an option to all customers who may have previously purchased 3 x single decks for maximum capacity with minimum footprint. The depth of the new slimline series is 600mm compared to the traditional 620 which has a depth of 760mm.
Cooking pizzas in around 3-5 minutes, depending on the thickness of the pizza, the Cuppone Tiziano oven is ideal for any establishment and can also be used to cook a wide range of other dishes such as pasta, jacket potatoes, fish, meat and vegetables. Offering independently controllable thermostats, the fabulous Tiziano allows the user to adjust each deck’s temperature to suit so that they can cook different dishes at different temperatures in each deck.
The new new Tiziano ovens are supplied with a 2 years parts and 1-year labour warranty as standard, with additional labour warranty packages available.
Oldham based pizza equipment specialists, Linda Lewis Kitchens Ltd (LLK) is pleased to announce they have secured approval for their wood-fired Giovanni and Da Vinci range of pizza ovens, to be used in smokeless zones throughout the UK, finding themselves firmly on “The List”.
The newly developed range of ovens are handcrafted in Italy and have been specifically designed to offer customers an authentic oven with superior cooking abilities and fuel efficiency. They have been crafted with their customers in mind, with the ability to be built on-site in a matter of hours by LLK’s team of engineers, eradicating any access issues a site may have. That means no more removing walls to get huge pizza ovens in!
The Giovanni range is LLK’s highest specification oven and is available in wood, gas, and dual fuel supply to suit a range of establishments. The Giovanni features a number of revolutionary designs and technologies. The innovative oven has been specifically manufactured to speed up production, thanks to its revolutionary revolving stone base which makes unloading and loading easier, helping to accelerate overall production by up to 20%! The wood fired Giovanni oven has a shelf that has been designed so that the rotation of the stone base does not affect the burning wood and takes as little space away from the cooking floor as possible. The shelf has been positioned in a way that evenly distributes the heat, maximising the baking quality of the oven whilst guaranteeing no cold spots.
Both the Giovanni and Da Vinci models have superior 120mm thick insulation inside the oven, as well as a 200mm thick insulation in the upper cavity which allows the oven to reach and retain temperatures of up to 1200°C.
The Da Vinci range of ovens are inferior in design, with an 80mm stone cooking floor which helps to retain heat and produces an even, consistent bake. The oven has the option to be supplied with a clever electric control panel which notifies the operator when the oven changes temperature indicating that more wood needs to be added, making maintaining an even cooking temperature child’s play.
Both models, are manufactured using super high alumina refractory concrete, ensuring thermal stability. The dome shape hugs the cooking floor inside of the oven allowing no heat to escape through gaps. The dome itself is aerodynamically designed to avoid suffocation of the flame, offering a ceiling height of 440mm which delivers significant energy savings as a result of its ability to retain heat. The new range of LLK ovens simply demonstrate true Italian craftsmanship.
Managing Director, Linda Lewis comments, “LLK are delighted to be launching their own brand of wood-fired ovens. As the pizza market is our passion, we have put all our knowledge and expertise into sourcing the best technology and materials, to build an oven specifically designed for pizza perfection”.
“We are very proud to offer the innovative Giovanni to the UK market, the investment in testing has allowed us to offer a wider range of solutions to our valuable customers. We really do have an oven for every occasion” Jenna Lewis, Commercial Director.

The Cuppone Range is renowned for its excellence. They have been designing and manufacturing pizza equipment for more than half a century. Taking advantage of today’s most up-to-date technology, they have pioneered a range of equipment that allows customers to easily perfect the art of pizza making.
The Cuppone Pizza Range proves it is more than just perfect for pizza
The LLKP30 Pizza Press is typically used to produce perfectly uniform pizza bases, but has also proved itself highly adaptable, having been introduced as the ideal piece of kit for the creation of ‘Naanwiches’, by Uxbridge street food pop-up and healthier eating champion, Naked Naan.
The stainless steel, stylish Cuppone Pizza Press has highly advanced heated plates, as suited to turning out perfectly pressed naan bread as they are pizza bases. Each layer of dough pressed in it is finished off with a coating of starch gel, which serves a very useful purpose. It suppresses the gas produced when the dough is fermenting, helping to create the ideally pressed piece of naan or pizza.
By introducing technology into its food service, Naked Naan was able to guarantee a quick turnaround of its naanwiches – fun-filled naan breads that it served for 12 weeks in Uxbridge and which it will now be taking to other areas as the popularity of pop up street food increases.
With the Cuppone Pizza Press on board, Naked Naan was able to deliver on its grab-and-go positioning, through fast service and the capability of dealing with the high peaks in daytime trade very simply and effectively. No training was required, enabling the fast-food pop-up to get up and running very speedily.
Naked Naan’s owner, Shushma Kumar thinks the introduction of this technology has been nothing short of a revolution, replacing the hand-rolling of dough and all the time and energy wasted on that process.
Shushma says: “We can now create perfect naan bread every time, with a consistency and perfect shaping and sizing. I would call the Linda Lewis Kitchens’ Cuppone Pizza Press the ‘Rolls Royce’ of the catering world.”
The Cuppone Pizza Press comes in five different sizes, with plates ranging in size from 300mm to 500mm. It also has an optional mobile stand, with a flour drawer and room to house 600x400mm dough trays. As Naked Naan discovered, it takes up little space and is the reliable dough press that will always turn up for work and put in long, tireless shifts.
There’s no reason why it cannot be an asset for other Indian caterers wishing to turn around naan bread quickly and effectively, Indian food outlets should consider how it could benefit them and put innovation right at the heart of their kitchen.
