Revol celebrated 10 years of its Basalt tableware range, by showcasing several new designs at this year’s Host Milano.

Since its inception, the Basalt line has been Revol’s undisputed bestseller, remaining a big hit with a wide range of foodservice professionals throughout the world of tableware.

The Basalt range is universal, comprised of a raw mineral elegance and unmatched material strength, as well as a natural capacity to enhance recipes. The subtle tones of the material range from anthracite grey to jet black, which have been chosen to draw out the colours in ingredients.

Often used for meat dishes, the Basalt material is resistant, non-porous and is not marked by knives or forks. It also has the rare asset of improving over time, even with intensive use.

New in 2020, and unveiled during Host last week, is the Basalt handled dish which can go from the oven to the dining table and includes all the properties and qualities of robust ceramic.

Another is the new oval plate with an elegant rim which provides the optimal plating surface for sauces.
