Precision Refrigeration increases its team as business grows 20% year-on-year

Thetford refrigeration manufacturer Precision is bucking the economic slump with dynamic growth of 20% over the past year – and no sign of a downturn.  Precision makes commercial refrigeration for restaurants, bars and hotels.  It’s just capped off a highly successful 12 months with a prestigious industry award – the Catering Insight Business Development Supplier of the Year.

To cope with its continuing growth, the company is expanding its manufacturing and is now working hard to recruit new staff.  As part of the recruitment drive, Precision held two Open Days for potential employees to see what’s on offer.

Precision is looking to recruit up to twenty people to work on the factory floor over the next few months.  “Our success is all about team work,” says Nick Williams, managing director of Precision.  “We have a great spirit throughout the company, and we’re looking for people who will help us drive the business forward.”

The company is highly regarded in the foodservice industry and has a reputation for innovation and customer service.  In fact the Catering Insight award, which was announced at a glittering ceremony in central London last week, is voted for by customers and distributors.  “That’s what makes winning such a huge accolade,” says Nick.  “We’re thrilled the company’s hard work and underlying ethos has been recognised through such a prestigious award.”

This is the second year running that Precision has won a Catering Insight award, last year being crowned Heavy Equipment Supplier of the Year. Precision’s UK sales director, Tim Davis, was joined on stage by regional sales manager Kandie Harrison to accept the award from Catering Insight editor Clare Nicholls.  “Precision has grown its engagement with customers over the past year, which is reflected in the volume of prestigious projects it has been involved with,” Clare said.
